The problem with snltitipg the signal is that the sky+ box chooses between a block of frequencies containing a range of channels in each and this is controlled by the LMB(Receiver on your Dish) through your sky+ box and there are around 3/4 blocks of frequencies that the LMB down converts to the sky+ box. Therefore if you split the signal and input the signals into the sky+ box and record a channel for example A and you wont be able to view a channel B which is contained in the next block of frequencies. The LMB should have two outputs (if not you will need to get one off sky), get yourself some cable and two connectors and connect it up yourself. Hope this helps.
This is pretty cool.
